Lay Eucharistic Minister/Visitor & Lectors

Description

• A Lector reads the Old Testament or New Testament, leads the Psalms, and reads prayers of the people. 
• A Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM) assists in serving communion with the Deacon and by administering the chalice. This is a licensed position in the diocese.
• A Lay Eucharistic Visitor (LEV) is licensed to take communion from the reserved sacraments to members of the congregation or community outside of regular Worship services.

• Must be a member of Christ the King
• Must complete the training
• Receive a Diocesan License (LEM/LEV)
