Friendship Tea
We would like everyone who attended, those who setup, and those who donated items for the Silent Auction.
The Tea raised $750, which will be added to our fund for "On Solid Ground" for our handicapped parking spaces.

Description
Afternoon tea, that most quintessential of English customs is, perhaps surprisingly, a relatively new tradition. The custom of drinking tea dates back to the third millennium BC in China and was popularized in England during the 1660s. Our Friendship Tea is an opportunity for the ladies of Christ the King to extend an invitation to our families, friends and neighbors in the community to join us for an afternoon of fun, food & fellowship served by courteous waiters in formal attire. The afternoon festivities are also to raise funds for designated purposes (currently paving our handicapped parking area). We ask for a donation for admission and a Silent Auction is also held with many treasures available for purchase. Cash or Checks only for the Silent Auction. Future Dates: The Saturday after Mother's Day (5/14/2022) at 3:00 pm. Bring your own special Tea cup and saucer and share their story at your table. (Tea cups will also be available on the table.)
Cost: Donations ($10/person). Tickets are available on Sunday (May 4th), and also during the week in the church office.
*** Specials *** Bring 1 new friend for free. Your 1st time at the tea is only $5.00 Buy a whole table (6 seats) for only $50.00 One special per person please How can you Help?
