Welcome to Camp Wingmann!
Camp Wingmann is a ministry of the Diocese of Central Florida located near Avon Park in Highlands County. Since 1928, Camp Wingmann has been a holy place set aside primarily for children and youth to discover their place in the world and to develop their unique connection to God. The extraordinary location, facilities, and staff are all truly wonderful guides for spiritual enrichment and growth. Moreover, children and youth grow in Christ all while enjoying a variety of uplifting, community-building, and fun activities, including: tubing, ropes courses, performing and visual arts, and sports, among others. The camp has two main offerings for children and youth:

Christ The King Church wants ALL children who so desire
to go to Camp Wingmann for Summer or Winter Camp without financial constraints. If your child would like to go and you need assistance, please contact the priest or church office. |
